Getting Rid of Old Clutter: The DVDs

Knowing how to get rid of your old DVDs can not only make you a few bucks but clear up valuable space in your home. Purchasing DVDs always seems like a good idea at the time. You come across a movie that you like and can’t resist the urge to purchase it. You bring your new purchase how proudly and enjoy the film that night. A year later you realize you haven’t thrown the movie into the DVD player since that first night you bought it. If you’ve decided that it’s time to get rid of some or all of the movies in your collection then try these outlets for sale of your DVDs.

1.) eBay- It’s not always easy to get top dollar on used DVDs on eBay. However, there are many titles which generally will fetch a good price. You can get a good idea of how good your DVD will sell by searching current listings for the titles you plan to sell. Don’t be afraid to get crafty with your DVD sales. For instance, you can sell a package of five DVDs including two popular titles and three others that are not likely to sell as well. Bundling your DVDs not only allows you to get rid of more titles with one transaction but it saves on packaging time as well as shipping costs for the buyer.

2.) Amazon.com- There are more people looking for used DVDs on Amazon then virtually any other website on the internet. For packaging your DVDs, eBay might be the way to go but if you’re looking to sell your DVDs individually then you can’t do better than Amazon. Look up current listings and price titles accordingly.
