You only need a basic knowledge of computers in order to start your own blog. If it seems like everyone you know has a blog now, including even the most computer illiterate of your family and friends, that’s because companies like Google have made it just that easy to start a blog in minutes. The hardest thing for most people to do is come up with some good ideas on what to blog. Mundane, aimless rousing and a play by play of what you did during the day is not going to be enough to keep people coming back to your page. Instead, try tackling these topics to liven up your blog.
1.) movie reviews- Do people generally care what you have to say about movies? If so, why not help your friends weed through some of the crap movies that are out there. There are a lot of movies offered and your friends may have a hard time narrowing down choices. Use your blog as a chance to be informative to your followers and give recommendations of movies to rent and movies to skip.
2.) health and fitness advice- If you are great at exercising and have information that could be helpful to others, why not share it? It can be motivating to know a friend is in the gym battling on a daily basis like you are. Share tips and strategies as to what has been working for you and what hasn’t.
There is a limitless amount of subjects you can blog about. As the saying goes, write about what you know. Share your thoughts when you have something educated to pass on and check other blogs for ideas.
